The time has come to restrict comments. This is not a pleasant decision or one easily made. There is no objection to readers' wishing to remain anonymous, but the porn, drugs, and other sordid filth must go.

Cute comments are welcome and I often make them. You are right about the abuse of speech freedom. It's easy to blame the Republicans but they are only part of the problem.

I just let my daughter comment on my blog anonymously, but we were on the phone together so I knew it was her. She wanted to see how I blogged about the baby.

arrived home last night. my god, i am exhausted! i needed to go back to work to recover from my vacation.
