Would it be correct to use this word in the following context.
My friends and I are an example of a manque generation of the 1970's.
This seems an entirely appropriate use of "manque." It would also apply to some blog writers!
You have reminded me of the term "lost generation." Perhaps this will be used as a Tuesday's Word. It fits what seems to be a common mindset in those who felt confusion regarding the Vietnam War. Thanks!
