Diva Jood and Barbie, this might be termed the crawl-to-walk stage! I've been trying to figure out what to copy and paste to make the Friends' font match that of the Archives. Photos will be published after a bit more practice. The code is still a big challenge and I don't know what to read to improve.

oh, see... that is a good question for you to ask David.
The problem being that in your template the Archives and Recent Posts are not fonts but actually jpegs. I didn't have one to match that said Friends' blogs so I just coded the words in.
